About Lisa Trocchi Photography
I was born in Johannesburg South Africa, travelled the world, and am now based back in Jozi (but happy to travel!!)
I started out in the world of professional photography as a publicity photographer to stars such as Eric Roberts, Leon Schuster, Embeth Davidtz and Evita Bezuidenhout.
After the film industry, I photographed for two national magazines – the models, the fashion, the food, products, adverts and in fact everything in between the covers of the two lifestyle magazines.
Then came a period of annual reports for corporates such as Shell (S.A.), the Kellogg Foundation and Alexandra Clinic. I photographed Nelson Mandela three times after his release.
I owned two photographic studios, one in Cape Town and one in Johannesburg, providing models and families with make-up artistes, hairstylists and graphic designers to enhance their images.
Nowadays I work solo, photographing a range of subjects – events, real estate, staff, corporates and food – preferring to travel to clients, rather than working out of a studio.
